Spring Themed Journal

Good afternoon, I was inspired to make this journal because of a tin of biscuits I received at Christmas, it had teapots on the lid, so I thought a journal could be placed inside.

I used a digital kit from Tsunami Rose called Teatime Desserts, together with tea dyed paper, lined paper and other papers.  This is mainly a writing journal with pockets and tucks for keepsakes.  It fits nicely in the sweet little tin.  There is a walk through on my YT Channel TatteredRoseCrafts.

I hope you like my latest project.

Spring Themed Journal

Good Afternoon fellow crafters.

My current project is a spring themed journal, especially for writing as it has lots of blank pages and minimal embellishing.

The cover is made from heavy weight cardstock and decorated with paper from 7 Gypsies Conservatory and Steamtown Spring, a digital paper collection from Ephemera's Vintage Garden.  I have added book corners, a tag for adding title and small charms.  The spine is covered in a leather type fabric, sewn round the edges and two Tim Holtz brads on top and bottom.

The journal measures 6 x 4 and has five signatures, a variety of papers, tea dyed, graph paper, lined paper and tracing paper, as well as paper from 7 Gypsies and Steamtown Spring.  There are tuck spots and pockets, tags and journal cards.

The closure is a chain closing with a lobster claw and charm.

A walk through is on my YouTube Channel.

Nostalgia Vintage Themed Journal

Good morning.

Today's project is carrying on from my previous post to try and use up my paper pads.  For this journal I used Prima Bella Rouge and DCWV Coral Couture collections.  The journal cover is made from a hard backed book and measures 9.3/4 x 6.1/2 inches, a 2 inch spine and 3 signatures.

I have also used tea dyed papers, an assortment of other types of paper, oddments of ribbon, lace and other embellishments I have in my stash.

There is plenty of room in the journal for writing, adding photos and storing precious keepsakes.

I hope you like my journal.

Thanks for stopping by.
