My project today is a tag for entry in Live and Love Crafts March Challenge. The theme is Earthy Easter so I have used browns, yellows and creams as my colour palette. I started with Brown cardstock cut in to a shape of a tag and then layered it with pale yellow Design Papers from Cosmo Cricket 2wenty-Thr3E paper collection. The main feature is a Janet K Designs vintage image and I layered cream lace to frame it, then added cream pearls on each side. The bottom had two layers of cream lace from my stash. I stamped the sentiment which is from a Special occasions set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and adhered it to a stick pin I made myself. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and to finish I added a small ribbon at the top of the tag.
Thanks for stopping by.

Good Afternoon Crafters
My project today is a stick pin holder. The base started out as a wooden pot. First I painted it all over in pink acrylic paint then embossed it with Stampendious Frantage Shabby Pink enamel. The base is pink felt and I added strips of lace all around the pot. There is pink beaded trim at the top and white at the bottom. The holder for the pins is pink felt with wadding inside. The stick pins are hand made by me.
I stamped two birds and two butterflies from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous set with Memento Ink London Fog and Rich Cocoa and Tim Holtz Distress ink Victorian Velvet. I added small black beads for the birds eyes and coloured beads for the butterflies wings. The flowers are Gardenias, Wild Roses and Sweetheart Blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts. I then adhered them to the pot and added some stickles for sparkle. The back of the pot looks like this
