Fancy Pants in Blue

Good Morning
This cute card is for entry in My Besties UK Challenge.  The theme is blue and you can find more details on this challenge here.  I started off with white cardstock and layered blue paper from my stash.  The focal image is My Besties Fancy Pants Tea Time digi image and I coloured it with my Spectrum Noir pens.  I layered it on to blue card and added pale lilac lace behind before attaching to the card with foam dots.  The gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  To finish I added flat back pearls in the four corners and a small doodad embellishment top left of the image.

I hope you like my card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Things With Wings Card

Good morning.

My project today is a card for the Sir Stampalot September Challenge Things with Wings, a link to the challenge can be found here

I started off with white cardstock and then created the background by blending together several distress inks colours.  I used an IndigoBlu stamp for the grasses and ferns and a Tim Holtz stamp for the larger wild flowers.  The sentiment and dragonflies are from the IndigoBlu stamp set and the bird is from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamp set.  I die cut four small butterflies and doubled them up to create dimension and added small seed beads along their bodies.  Finally I added stickles to give a bit of sparkle to the card.

I hope you like my project.

Vintage Themed Rosette

Good afternoon, my last post today.

This project is for a Youtube challenge and is a vintage themed rosette.

I made the rosette with black cardstock and used First Edition Noir et Chic papers.  I have added cream lace all around the rosette and black lace in the centre.  The vintage image has been framed with a Memory Box die I embossed in silver.  I have used Wild Orchid Craft Flowers at the bottom and attached various laces and ribbons in black and cream to dangle below the rosette.  At the top I have added pearl bling and cream ribbon as a hanger.

I hope you like my project.

As always thanks for stopping by.

Tag Matchbook Holder

Good Afternoon, my second post today.

I have been taking part in a few challenges over on YouTube.  This one is a Tag Matchbook Holder.

I made a tag and covered it with Papermania Capsule Wild Rose papers, added a flower and bow from the collection and pink pearl trim.

for the matchbook I used the same papers and added pearl trim and lace.  Inside are three stick pins I made with pearl and blue beads and silver findings.  I have added a lace belly band with a button to hold the matchbook closed and it fits inside the tag pocket.

A nice project to do and is very good to send as a gift.

Thanks for watching.

Egyptian Themed Tag

Good Afternoon

My project today is an Egyptian Themed Tag for entry in a Tag Hop over on YouTube.

I started off with white cardstock as my tag, then covered it with Hunkydory  foiled paper from the Art Deco range.  The focal image is the very famous Burial Mask of Tutankhamun I have layered it on black cardstock then gold mirror card, adding foam tape before adhering to the tag.  At the bottom of the tag I have added copper trim with gold coloured beads.  To finish I have added thin black lace at the top.  As this is such as striking image I felt no further embellishment was required for this project.

I hope you like my Egyptian Themed Tag.
