With Love Card & Envelope

Hello again crafters, I am back with another card, this time for entry in My Besties UK Challenge Anything Goes & Pencil Colouring.

I have made a card with matching envelope using a white base and designer papers from Teresa Collins Fabrications collection.  I have used gold card for matting.  The sweet image is Tea-Time Tippi and I used coloured pencils in blues, lilacs, greens and yellows.  The sentiment is from a Personal Impressions stamp set and I added white ribbon and small gold coloured beads from my stash.  The two sweet butterflies were gifted to my by a fellow crafter.

Please visit the My Besties UK Challenge blog to see great entries from their Design Team members.

I hope you like my card.

Thinking of you Autumn Card

Good morning crafters.  My card today is autumn themed, rich browns, reds and greens.  I started off with white cardstock and used metallic acrylic paint in bronze and blue for the background.  I then stamped the trees in black.  I added this to the card base, together with designer paper from my stash.  The lovely image is Aurora Maple, I coloured her with my Spectrum Noir pens.  I then added leaves and flowers die cut from the designer paper with my Cuttlebug, finished off with a few amber coloured embellishments to give a bit of sparkle. Finally, I added a sentiment at the top.

Steampunk Romance Tag

Good Afternoon Crafters.  I am participating in a monthly tag hop over on YouTube and the them for October is Steampunk Romance.

For my tag I used this lovely digital image and coloured the background of the tag in blue, silver and white acrylic paint.  I added texture paint and then Mod Podge.  Cogs (from Fernli Designs) have been embossed in gold, silver and black and I have added small nuts and washers.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used a necklace to frame the image and made a small dangle at the top of the tag.  I have also added a few small pearl beads.

I hope you like my project.

Thanks for stopping by.

Rose Bud, Buttons and Bling

Good morning, my project today is a scalloped card with a theme of buttons and bling.  I started off with white cardstock and used Papermania Capsule Wild Rose papers. I used my Spellbinders die to make a curved shape and covered it with the paper and added to the card with a white doily.  Across the bottom I added pink lace from my stash.  The image is My Besties Rose Bud and I coloured her with my Spectrum Noir pens and added her to the card with foam pads.  At the top I added a bow and three buttons from the Wild Rose collection and popped silver bling on top of the buttons.  Two small pink flat backed pearls are on two corners of the image.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts

I have continued the same theme inside the card finishing with a matching die cut left blank for a sentiment or greeting.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

My Besties UK Challenge Anything Goes and Buttons
Besties Challenge 21 Bling it Up
Live and Love Crafts Challenge 28 Pink Anno 2014

Canadian Thanksgiving Tag

Good morning, the challenge on the East Wind blog is Canadian Thanksgiving/Giving Thanks and the lovely digital image is Aurora Turkey.  Full details of the challenge can be found here

My project is a tag.  I started off adding dark yellow paper with a background leaf image.  I coloured Aurora Turkey with my Spectrum Noir pens.  I used one of my Spellbinder dies to cut out the image and distressed the edge with Tim Holtz Scattered Straw ink.  The image is added to the card on foam pads.  Behind the image is a Bo Bunny die cut from their Forever Fall collection.  I added a yellow feather to match her hat.  The sentiment is computer generated and is raised on foam pads.  I added beads from my stash in autumn colours and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts

Check out the East Wind on Etsy to see lots of their lovely digital images.

I hope you like my project.

Thanks for stopping by.

Mixed Media Wall Hanging

Good morning, my project today is an Autumn themed mixed media wall hanging.  I started off with base card and added strips of mulberry paper with mod podge.  When dry I painted it all over with bronze, orange and dark brown acrylic paint.  After the paint had dried I randomly stamped over the area.  I then glued the base card to corrugated cardboard to give it more strength.

At the top right I added a spider's web.  I painted it black before adding to card base.  There is also a small plastic spider in the web.

In the bottom right hand corner I added a few plastic green leaves, conkers and pine cones coated with glossy mod podge, then I added flowers in earth tone colours.

I carried the flowers, conkers and pine cones arrangement along to the next corner and added the pumpkin after painting it orange and black.

For the top left corner, I added a small copper coloured chain to drape down the base card then glued the bat on the top.
To finish I used a banner strip with October and a small spider's web, these came from Graphic 45 A Place in Time paper collection.

The bat, pumpkin and spider's web are laser cut shapes from Fernli Designs and the flowers
from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I hope you like my mixed media project.
