Lucy Loo Thank You Card

Good afternoon crafters.  It is Thanksgiving time in the States so my card today reflects that sentiment.  The base is Kraft card and I used two designer papers, Floral Fantasy from Louise Tiler and Kaisercraft Storyteller as a strip across the centre.  The image is Lucy Loo Profile from The East Wind Company.  I coloured her with my Spectrum Noir pens and placed her behind the frame then cut around the long part of hair so that it drapes down the front. I used pale green card and a Leanecreatief frame die cut, the edges have a coat of Glossy Accents to give it a bit of shimmer.  I added a small butterfly and a cream sweetheart blossom flower from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment is from a Papermania urban Stamps set.

Snowy Christmas Card

Hello again, my second post today a Christmas card.  The base is a white scalloped card and I die cut out a circle in the centre.  I added this lovely Aurora Reindeer digi by The East Wind Company.  I coloured it with Spectrum Noir pens and added Stampendous Shabby Pink Frantage and  Diamond Dust all around.  The paper on the front is from Wild Rose Studio antique Library.  I used silver card to cut out the Merry Christmas sentiment and Snowflake dies.  To finish I placed three silver stars at the top and a pink ribbon bow with a silver button.

Pink with Curls Card

Hello crafters.  I recently purchased a lovely paper pad called Classique Pretty by Authentique.  I used some of the papers on this card, the first layer is a solid pink, the second very pale pink.  I distressed the edges and added a couple of tear spots then inked all round with Victorian Velvet by Ranger.  Next I added a paper doily then a striped piece of the papers.  I then added white lace with pale lemon ribbon running through it.  The sweet image is a My Besties digi Fizzy Lizzy.  I coloured her with my Spectrum Noir pens, sprinkled Stampendous Shabby Pink Frantage around the image, then I matted it and added it to card with foam pads.  To finish I added white and pink flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a pale lemon organza bow.

Christmas Tag

Hello all, my project today is a Christmas Tag.  I started off with green cardstock to make the tag then added BoBunny Silver and Gold Collection paper.  I made a pocket at the lower end of the tag and added green festive ribbon.  I used the BoBunny stamp of Father Christmas, embossed it in gold and layered on to green cardstock.  The small tag that sits in the pocket is also from the BoBunny paper collection, I added red ribbon at the top.  The bauble is a Spellbinders stamp and I embossed it in gold and added it to the tag on foam pads to give it dimension.  Red festive ribbon at the top finishes off the tag.

Cameo

Hello there, my card features a gorgeous digi image from Fitztown called Cameo 11.  I started off with a white scalloped card base and used Melissa Frances Classic Elegance papers layered with black cardstock.  I used a Spellbinders die to cut out the image and coloured her in with my Spectrum Noir pens.  To embelish I added black lace and a black feather, a Prima leaf which has coloured rhinestones and glitter at the tip.  I used Glossy Accents on the flowers and necklace and added black pearls and coloured rhinestones around the edge to give a bit of sparkle.

Post it Note Holder

Hello there, a crafty friend is hosting a challenge over on YouTube.  The challenge is to make something incorporating wood so I have made a post it note holder.  I started off with a wooden stamp, took off the rubber and lined the base with red felt.  On the top of the block I added fine lace so the wood would still be seen, I carried on with lace around the sides.  I used cream card to make the actual holder and decorated the top with lace and one of my hand made fabric flowers with a pearl centre.  A small loop of cream ribbon is there for ease of lifting to access the post it notes.  To finish the top I made a flower spray with Sweetheart Blossoms, 2 Tone Gypsophila and beaded spray from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I placed the flower stems in a bead cap and added a small red bow.  I adherred the spray to the block over an applique.

Aurora Go Green Card

Hello again crafters, there is a challenge over on The East Wind blog where their theme is Go Green and Recycle.  For my card I have used papers that I have in my stash and not used for some time.  They originally came with a card making magazine as a free gift and I decided to use them.  The card base is white and the layering card is dark green.  I coloured Aurora Go Green with my Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut her out then added to the card with foam pads.  The ribbon and heart embellishment were recycled from a previous project that had been discarded and the sweetheart flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment is a freebie, again from a card making magazine and I added stickles to the snowflake.

Here is a close up of the image
